Clay E. Burton, DDS

Dr. Burton was born in Eastern Kentucky, but was raised in Knoxville, TN. During high school, my family moved to Kingston, TN a rural town outside of Knoxville . After graduating high school, he went on to study at Tennessee Tech University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry. Dr. Burton received his  D.D.S degree from the University of Tennessee. He met his wife, Lacie, while in dental school. Lacie is a Greensboro native, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University, and an oncology Nurse Practitioner at Cone Cancer Center here in Greensboro. After graduating dental school, Dr. Burton and Lacie moved to Nashville, and worked in a private practice for a few years. Lacie and Clay have a daughter, Ella Kate, who was born in October 2016. Greensboro has been their home for a few years, and looking forward to many years here.
While not in the office, Dr. B enjoys golfing, running, and anything outdoors. He enjoys being with family and friends, sharing memories and great food. Dr. Burton is an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and makes the pilgrimage to Knoxville often during the football season.
Dr. Burton stays active with his continuing education. He is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, Guilford County Dental Society, and a few local study clubs that keep him up to date with the latest and greatest that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Burton has taken over 200 hours in implant dentistry. He is fellowship eligible with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Burton and staff look forward to providing the best and most affordable care possible to all patients.
